Hasta ayer no más
pintaba palomas blancas
crédulo de alcanzar
la paz por la pureza.

Hasta ayer no más
mi ingenuidad era
una llama de esperanza
hasta ayer no mas

Pero hoy mi paloma
amaneción ocre
a mi paloma blanca de paz pura
la ha puesto amarilla el tiempo

La paz está en la honestidad pura
pero quien me dice, donde está
la mano torpe del hombre interesado
te ha prostituído.

Ay... Paloma de mi paz soñada
no puede tu blanco en tanto fango
no puede ya tu pureza
en este mundo

Hay que mudarte el color
vestirte de plumas firmes
que escapen al manoseo
que te iergas por sobre las pasiones
que vueles sin condicionamientos.

Hasta ayer no más
pintaba palomas blancas
crédulo de alcanzar
la paz por la pureza.

Hasta ayer no más
y hoy heme convencido
que esta paloma mía
ha de llevarnos, sí
ha de llevarnos con seguridad
ha de llevarnos y llegaremos

Cara paloma de mi paz soñada
te he encontrado un color
con el cual te sientas fuerte, cuando vuelas
que te adivinen precisa mensajera

Que te conozcan así de verdadera
que sepan a conciencia
que tu rojo no se altera
porque te nutre la sangre
de los hombres que te esperan.
